 NONE AS WONDERFUL AS YOU by Hermann Lammers Meyer, is an unusual and charming declaration of love in song. The song tells the story of a man who has experienced many places in the world, but the woman he loves is for him more wonderful than all. Hermann sings it in his own special way and it sounds almost autobiographical, since Hermann really has seen many of the places he sings about. The lyrics together with the piano and steel guitar accompaniment combine to produce a lovely easy listening sound which touches the heart and stays in the memory as all great songs do.

Ist das eine Nachhilfestunde in Geographie oder ist es eine ungewöhnliche Liebeserklärung? Es ist beides und das in einem Song. Es ist „Herman the German“ in Bestform!. Der Weltenbummler, der er ist, hat manches von unserem Globus gesehen. Vieles davon in den U.S.A., seiner zweiten Heimat. Es ist eine Lehrstunde in Sachen Geographie, vielleicht Anregung, einige der genannten Orte selbst zu besuchen. Aber es ist vor allem eine Liebeserklärung, denn er sagt seinem `Darling`, dass keiner dieser herrlichen Orte mit ihrer Schönheit konkurrieren kann! Verpackt in eine eingängige Melodie und einen von der Steel Guitar geprägten Sound ist dies der ideale Song, um in den Frühling zu starten – ein Liebeslied wie es schöner nicht sein kann. A songwriter's biggest dream is for a legendary international recording star to take a liking to one of his songs, then want to sing and record it, and then send it out for all the world to hear and enjoy. Well, hats off to Hermann Lammers Meyer. He did just that with my song, 'NONE AS WONDERFUL AS YOU,' and he did it up in his unique great country style--true to his artistry and true to the heart of the song. It's all there. Great job, Hermann! This one is sure to land a spot on DJ's play lists around the globe... and even find a place on the country charts. Keep it going.... it's good! (And, Hermann, thanks so much).
